Digital Legacy Setup

Your will covers your home. We make sure it covers your phone too.

When someone dies or loses capacity, families are often locked out of their phone, a lifetime of photos, email and online banking. Apple, Google and the banks can take months to help, and sometimes can't at all. In one unhurried home visit we set up the legacy features most people don't know exist, so the right people can get in when it matters. We handle the technology; the legal side stays with your will writer or solicitor.

Background-checked engineers, so you can feel safe letting us into your home.

Sound familiar?

  • Nobody else knows how to unlock your phone or laptop
  • Decades of family photos sit in one iCloud or Google account
  • Online-only bank accounts, pensions and bills nobody knows about
  • Passwords kept in your head, or a notebook nobody can find
  • Email and social media that would stay open, or be lost, after you've gone
  • Recovery phone numbers and emails that are years out of date

What we do

  • A list of your digital life: devices, email, banking, subscriptions, photos and social media
  • A password manager with emergency access for someone you trust
  • Apple Legacy Contact and Google Inactive Account Manager switched on
  • Facebook legacy contact and memorialisation settings chosen
  • Family photos backed up, with a copy your loved ones can reach
  • Two-step login and up-to-date recovery details on key accounts
  • A simple instruction sheet to keep with your will. We never hold your passwords

Time & pricing

Most digital legacy visits take 1–2 hours, with a yearly check-up if you'd like one. We give you a personalised quote, travel included, before anything is booked, so you always know the cost upfront. Visits are available 7 days a week, 8am–9pm. Pay by card, payment link, bank transfer or invoice.

Digital Legacy: common questions

It's everything you own or use online: your phone and computer, email, photos in iCloud or Google, online banking, subscriptions, social media and any crypto. Unlike your house or savings, most of it is locked behind passwords that only you know, so it needs planning separately.

Not easily. Without the passcode, even Apple can't unlock an iPhone. If you add a Legacy Contact in your Apple Account settings, that person can request access to your photos, messages, notes and files with an access key and a death certificate. We set this up with you and make sure the access key is stored safely.

No. A will usually becomes a public document after probate, and passwords change. Instead, we set up a password manager with emergency access and a short instruction sheet that says where things are and who to contact. Your will writer can advise on how to refer to digital assets in the will itself.

No. We set up the technology. What you leave to whom, and how it's worded, is for a will writer or solicitor. We're happy to work alongside yours.

Yes. Many bookings come from adult children. We'll visit your parent, go at their pace and, with their permission, send you a short summary of what was set up and who the nominated contacts are.

Let's get it sorted
